Location western marsh
Duck season finally here! Luke and I headed out for a daybreak hunt, not long after setting up the decoys 2 black ducks sailed in with their feet out, Luke took 2 shots with his new Browning Maxus and both ducks fell. Since we had the black duck limit he also shot 2 brant. Later in the day we did an afternoon hunt and he shot a Drake Mallard, good start and Luke is really on point with the new gun..Sorry not to see any other youth hunters, in our area at least. Cant wait for regular season to start and many great days on the marsh this winter...
