Captain Rich Santos and I joined Kevin Oncale and his dad Robert for a few days of fishing out of Houma, Louisiana. We stayed on Robert's houseboat and fished on .Kevin's 19 foot Frontier center console. It was a 2.5 hour ride to the campsite side towing the Frontier to get to the campsite and it was a beautiful trip with bald eagles, alligators and all kinds of wildlife along the way. The campsite is really just a dock in the wilderness with electric power as it is a leased plot from the oil companies. The houseboat was our home base and we ranged out with the small boat to fish some of Kevin's secret spots. It was a great 5 day fishing get away and we had a great time. I am posting some video and still shots and will post more soon. The big reds were all released. The smaller reds and drum made for some great meals on the houseboat and at Kevin's house the night before we left to head back to New York. What a great trip! Thank you so much Kevin and Robert, we had a great time and will do it again soon.
