I decided to fish today and work plugs in the back bay areas. The ocean was horrible anyway so I wanted to explore some other areas and give the plugs a good chance to work. It was satisfying to catch fish with one at about 12 pounds and one 30 pounds.

Damian Zusi caught this 43.5 lbs Bass fishing on the Capt.Surly taking first place In the Kismet Inn Tournament this the Biggest of 14 Fish the crew of Will Tregarthen Mike Dunn and Doug Delisle had on a Great Day of fishing.

My buddy Pete Johnston is selling his Pointer boat. It is a 1980 21 foot outboard model. It is powered by a 115 hp Mercury Four Stroke engine with only 500 hours on it. This is a very sturdy boat. The weather has been brutal for three weeks and ocean fishing has been a blow out for the most part. The big bass arrived yesterday around Fire Island and it should be a great next 6 weeks. Fish to 38 pounds caught in the Bergen Bay Docks Tournament.

I am fishing this Wednesday but Friday looks like a great weather day and I have it open. If you want a trophy bass Friday looks like the day to do it unless conditions change. Sunday is also open.
