I fished today with Chris. We had a good day of fishing with big blues and bass on the bunker pods. We
also had some nice blackfish. Later in the day we worked the inside for bass and scored a couple more nice bass. The wind finally let up and the afternoons was beautiful. Another great day on the water. Bob Helgans and Steven Helgans must have sharings the winnings. Their fish were caught off of Davis Park and the winner pulled has Striper off a school off of Point O' Woods. Once again the Cole family did a fantastic job putting out a spread of food and organizing the event and getting many great sponsors. Today I fished with Gregg and Bridget out of Kismet. We ran to the east of Fire Island and found the pods along with about a hundred other boats. We got in the game and caught fish. We dropped a few as well but had a good time and got back to the inlet just as the wind came up out of the west. Another fun day on the water.
