I fished today with Bob Simonds and his buddies Judd and Tim. Bob attended the "Stop Soldier Suicide" fund raiser at the Intrepid Memorial in Manhattan this spring and got the winning bid on a charter I donated to the cause. I didn't expect much as fishing has been slow but things worked out for the best. We found some active bait and caught three striped bass up to 30 pounds. We also had a false albacore on light spinning gear and some huge bluefish. It was a great day, an excellent crew and an outstanding cause. Another memorable day on the water. Captain Al Lorenzetti SOLD20 ft guardian (Red Dot commercial grade outrage) This boat is in rough condition but is all there.
It is perfect for restoration. Hull and transom are solid as you would expect from this model. Needs a lot of cosmetic work all around. These boats were special ordered so the options are always different, this one has the Aluminum console ($5k option), stainless steel cut water, aluminum gunwales, stern splashwell bulkhead, self bailing scuppers, aluminum bench leaning post, aluminum utility box,Tow post, rubbing strakes, HD electrical distribution panel. It had OMC power on it last, control, cables, wire harness are present. Can be used as it is for a work boat or would be an awesome Sea Duck boat! If you look you will find that these rarely come up for sale. Take a look, will negotiate a bit. Hull Only, Can arrange delivery.
