There was a lot of bait but hard to stay on them with a 30 mph wind but we managed and caught good.The fish were between 15 and 28 pounds and fought really hard in the current and hard wind. It was a great day on the water with an excellent crew.
No Photos today as it was too tough to take a photo and salt spray all over the camera if I took it out. Captain Al Lorenzetti I fished today with Vinny Afflixio and we had a great time catching lots of bass on artificials, plugs and live bait. We had fish up to 22 pounds. Lots of bait big and small moving around. I have tomorrow Tuesday and Friday open if you want to get in on this action. The weather looks lousy for Wednesday and Thursday. Captain Al Lorenzetti  Rich Santos and I did an upland hunt today at Hunter's Garden preserve in Northampton with Rich's yellow lab Jax. It was the first day in the field for Jax and he did an excellent job putting up pheasants and chukar partridge. We will soon be working him in the waters of the Great South Bay for ducks. This is one great dog and a fun day at Hunter's Garden.  There is a reason that commercial fisherman choose Guy Cotten for their rain gear. Rugged, waterproof and proven in the toughest conditions the sea can dish out..

So nice staying close to home. Havent witnessed this kind of fishing on the north side of the bay ever. Quick rundown last three mornings over 40 fish ranging from 3lbs to lil Geos best to date. 45lbs on the boga that was released to fight another day. should of took a release picture but forgot. Fish came in 2 feet of water on a yellow danny surface swimmer. Just a tip for all move away from boats and birds and that's where my bigger fish are coming from. He was pumped to say the least.
