Fire Island Inlet Fishing Report My 5 year old grandson Jack Albanese caught this 24 inch Fluke on a live peanut bunker inside Fire Island Inlet. His uncle Max was the net guy and when the fish spit the hook at the boat “Uncle Max” scooped him up just in time. Great day. Jack Albanese xtratuf (Extra Tough) Fishing Boots Review
Captain John Nappo of Trophy Fishing Tackle reviews the legacy boot, the mid boot and the sharkbyte shoe. Keeping your feet dry and a firm grip on the deck while fishing is essential when big game fishing. http://www.tunafishtackle.com/ http://www.tunafishtackle.com/xtratuf-boots-214c/ I fished today with Scott Fink and his wife Kelly and their daughters Stella and Ava and nephew Tyler (left to right) out of Dunewood.
We caught a bunch of fish but no keeper fluke. We did get into some bluefish action and everyone caught fish and we all had a good time Ava in the middle is one minute older than her sister Stella but they both catch fish equally well. Tyler is an excellent fisherman and all of us had fun. Kelly and Scott are not in the photo because they were also taking photos with me. The kids had a great time and the adults including me enjoyed watching them have a good day. Another excellent day on the water with a great crew. Captain Al Lorenzetti ![]() I fished today with Jeff Salkin who had been fishing with me since the early 80's. He had his son Andre and his buddies out for the day and we had a good time with fluke and bluefish. It was a little hectic with a bunch of teenagers but they were all good and fished very well. Lots of long arms and legs to tangle you up. They waved at all the passing boats and were really into it all. We ended up with a couple of keeper fluke to 5 pounds and bluefish.. It was a fun day and great to be fishing with Jeff as we go back a long way. Another great day on the water with a great crew.
