Big bluefish are all over the bay and inlet area and some larger bass are starting to show.
Here is Chris Kenneke with a 12 pound bluefish, one of at least 30 he caught on 5/8 on plugs and live bunker on the bunker pods in the bay.
This is a hot bite and I am sure there are some bass mixed in.
Weakfish are now being taken and their size is impressive. This is going to be a good season on the tiderunners.
Flounder fishing is getting hot as well so we are in the fishing mode.
I am getting booked for prime striper dates in late May, June and early July so if you want to fish on the right day with the best tide now is the time to book it.
For the rest of this month if you book we can do a mixed bag day targeting flounder, weakfish, bass and as of 5/17 it will include a shot at some big fluke.
