I fished today out of Seaview with Matt Warshaw, Miller Duchovny and Miller's buddy Nico.
It was a tough day to fish with winds out of the northwest at a steady 25 mph. The slip gut was pushed up all over the bay and we could hardly find a place to fish without getting totally fouled up with weed.
We worked it as hard as possible and found a couple of spots that worked. We had some short fluke and one keeper. We also had a nice bluefish on a plug which Miller is working hard with in this photo, Nico looking on and Matt taking the photo.
This was a great crew and the kids really seemed to have fun despite the tough conditions. Matt was a great help cleaning rigs and doing a lot of the things I would have to do so it made it manageable.
Another excellent day on the water.
