The East Cape region of Baja California, Mexico is a must visit destination if you want to get away from the large resorts and busy beaches. Calm tranquil seas, great fishing and outdoor activities are all here in this safe friendly area on the Sea of Cortez.

what a great video. I cannot agree more about Simon, we booked A tour with dive in Baja to swim with the whale sharks. What a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The fact that Simon was able to show us around the East Cape made it all that more special. We even It off with a drink at the Hotel Buen Vista

Nice video. And Simon and Clair have been a great asset to the community by showing people the wonders of the undersea world. However, by the narrator recommending people to drive an ATV on the beach goes against turtle nesting conservation and detracts from the natural beauty of the beach. And although there hasn't been much enforcement yet, it is illegal.

PLEASE let people know that driving o the beach is illegal and detracts from our beautiful east cape. Maybe include a trip to the turtle sanctuary instead of showing someone on a quad on the beach. The reason this is NOT Cabo is because we try our best to protect our beaches and its many living things, turtles, sun bathers, dog walkers, kids.... and the esthetic beauty of a beach that doesnt look and sound like a highway. Thank you!

Driving ATVs on the beach on the East Cape is quite damaging to the beaches - leaking oil - even in minuscule amounts will accumulate and damage sea life, ATV tires kill baby turtles, and it totally kills the esthetic of the remote, untrammelled, natural beach that is promoted in this video, and that we would all like to continue to enjoy. ATV use on the beach on the East Cape has reached a critical mass and is ruining the beaches for many of us that live here!

Great video about East Cape. East Cape offers wonderful snorkeling, windsurfing, kiting and biking. But please do not drive ATV's on the beach. We need to keep the beach clean and in condition for people to enjoy, swimming and family outings without the danger of ATV's driving along the beach. And, as noted above, it is illegal in all of Mexico to drive vehicles along the beach except for emergency needs.

Nice video, but you should really try to emphasize that driving ATV's on the beach is destroying it, sand is going from white to brown, its unsafe for adults and children to lay or play on the beach in some areas for fear of being run over by an ATV. Turtle eggs are being crushed or destroyed and ATV's are turning the once pristine beach into roadways.

East Cape is a jewel, when you visit remember to respect it and the people who enjoy it. Please NO ATVs on the beach. Unsafe, noisy and bad for the beach!

Love that you are here and telling such a great story about our area. Turtles nest here and very successfully most months of the year. Please contact me, I'd love to show you a great turtle story instead of driving and atv' s on the beach. 1 it will keep you on the right side of the law, 2 you'll love the turtles. :)

What a wonderful video about the beauty of East Cape until the comment about touring the beaches on ATV. It is vital that driving vehicles on the beach be stopped. First it is illegal to do so. And if people would stop to consider the harm they are doing to the beach environment, that is home to many creatures. We all come here to enjoy the beauty that the East Cape offers. ATV's are making it impossible for turtles to lay their eggs. It would be wonderful if your next video focused on how humans need to respect the environment and to educate people on the needs of the beautiful species in order for them to survive.
