Owner is willing to make a very considerable reduction on this boat for a serious buyer. I personally don't think I would do it because this is a tremendous buy even for the asking price but he has other plans and is willing to talk price. I tried to talk him out of lowering the asking price but he insists that he wants to sell it to finance other boat acquisitions. He is a boat guy and what can I say. Email me with an offer and I will forward it to him. Please do not make it a joke as I will not respond to that. I think 45K will buy this boat maybe a little less.
I have re-posted this Classic Mako restoration again because the owner and good friend of mine is anxious to sell. This is the best boat by far to come out of Babylon Boat Works. It is in Bristol condition and completely rebuilt from bottom up. It has been surveyed and meets all criteria of an outstanding and sound boat with a fair market value of $52,500 and replacement value of $60,000 as per the survey. The owner has $70,000 into this boat. I have the survey document and will provide it for a serious buyer, The owner is asking $49,500 and is negotiable on this price. This is the exact same boat that I have run hard for almost 40 years. It can do everything and will provide many years of service without any modifications. It is a turn key and go boat.
