I fished with a good buddy today, Kevin Ryan. We had a great day of fishing.
A 32 pound striped bass and a 15 pound both on yellow Danny plugs.Blowfish are in and yellow is the color as usual. Get them at Trophy Tackle in Babylon.
The big bass would have been 35 pounds if it had a gut. It was clean in from the ocean but nothing in the belly.
Ran on instruments all day, dense fog. just kept looking on my Lowrance Broadband Radar and GPS. It was super seeing everything you want to know and see on a machine. Select Heading up and work it like an arcade game. Run your past trails and you will be on the money.
It was fun fishing with Kevin as he is a true sport, keep one fish for the table and let the rest go and we really enjoy fishing together.
We also bottomed fished and had a bunch of big blowfish, kingfish and porgies.
A great day of fishing with tough conditions but worth the effort.
