Boy oh boy, two great days of fishing in a row.

Today I fished with Mark Lessing and his son Noah pictured here with his 35 pounds striper. 

We had 15 fish today with the biggest at 35 pounds.

Mark was the hot hand today with the most fish but Noah took home bragging rights on the big one.

An excellent day on the water with great friends and neighbors.

I fished out of Saltaire today with Mark Epstein and his friends John and Dave (right to left in photo below).

We had a great day with 12 fish up to 32 pounds. It was hot action for an hour or two and then was slow after that.

It was a beautiful day with light winds and warm temperatures and the water was very clean. I really think the breach is helping fishing conditions.

Here is the crew back at Saltaire with a bunch of beautiful striped bass. These guys all love fish and Mark is a gourmet chef.

Today I fished with Marco Cacciola of Trophy Tackle. Marco is the head of the reel repair shop at the store and their computer specialist. 

We had a good morning of bass fishing with live bait. Marco scored a nice fish just under thirty pounds. We had a few more up to about 25 pounds and had a good time.

I fished today with Michael and his son Sammy.

We had fun again with mid to upper teen size fish.

The action was good and the bluefish were hungry. Lots of live bait is the key to success.

I fished with Mark and Anthony today. we had a good day fishing live bait for striped bass.

We had a limit of fish and lots of action.

I did an exploratory trip today and found some great fishing. 

There is lots of bait around on the mainland and in the ocean. No fish on the bunker in the ocean but the amount of bait is spectacular. From Tobay to the inlet in 25 to 40 feet of water it was solid bunker just cruising along heading east.

Inside there is a ton of bass from 15 to 23 pounds with a lot of big bluefish mixed in with them. I must have had 15 fish and kept this one for the table.

The jumbos are not here in big numbers as of today but tomorrow could be a different story.

It was hot fishing and the best is still to come. If you want to fish now is the time to book a date. I am getting lots of calls and filling up the best spots. Drop me an email to set a date [email protected].
