9/24/2012 I fished today with my old buddy Tony Mazzara from Tucson, Arizona who is back home visiting. We had a great day of fishing. We trolled deep diving Danny plugs and Mepps plugs and caught bluefish to 14 pounds and bass to 20 pounds. The fall run is definitely beginning. No real monster bass yet but they will be here in another week or two. Action is real good. Here is my buddy Tony with one of the smaller fish of the day. The action was great with huge blues and nice bass. It was a picture perfect day and we had a blast reconnecting and spending some quality time together. Another great day on the water with a long time best friend. Captain Al Lorenzetti Ryan and Sean Brownyard Woke up early the took a walk on the Kismet dock only to see Mike McGrath wide awake doing the same. We looked to the north and saw a small fleet of boats trying to jig up Weakfish. The Brownyard boys were in shouting distance and were gracious enough to invite us to fish with them. Lots of laughs and lots of action but not many Weakfish. Ryan caught this tide runner on a Peanut Bunker. Tim C. Smith |
