What can I say? One of the best fishing days of my career. Fishing with Kevin Ryan and his buddies Troy and Ron (Right to Left) we boated over 40 striped bass up to 30 pounds.
We had at least 25 fish on plugs and at least 15 fish on bait. It was a fish fest to beat all.
It was a pleasure fishing with these guys as they are all good fishermen and made it easy for me.
Another pleasure was not having any boat traffic with guys running over the fish and mugging anyone with a bent rod. Reminded me of fishing in the late 60's with a few fish and the early 90's with a lot of big fish. What a pleasure not to have all the fish chasers around.
The weather looks good from Friday on through next week. If you want to fish I have open days. It should be great fishing.

A nice fish of about 25 pounds on a Gibbs Danny plug. The plugging was hot at the beginning of the tide and the bait was best on the last of the tide.
