I did an exploratory mission today. Tried a lot of things.
The bluefish invaded the area. I had a bunch 3 to 5 pounds on buck-tails and gulp and an 8 pound fish on a Danny plug.
Flounder fished and had a few to 1.5 pounds.
Buck-tailed for fluke and was rewarded with a nice 4 pound plus fish and also dropped a weakfish of about 5 pounds at the boat on the bucktail.
It is definitely livening up and the fishing should be real good in a few days if not tomorrow. Will be out there again searching for the mother load.
