![]() The Largest one day Bass tournament in the north east is back after being canceled due to the devastation of Sandy. The morning started off sloppy with a stubborn east wind that slowly subsided as the day went on. Most of the action was on the outside along the beach on diamond jigs. Curt Selafani aboard the "Blue Crush" had the heaviest Bass. The big Striper fell to a jig off of Sailors Haven and weighed in at 44 3/4 pounds. Chris Hooker on the boat "Spent" had second place with a 35 1/2 pounder caught off Gilgo. The third place fish was caught in the bay by John Willis near the wreck buoy and tipped the scale at 34 1/2 pounds. Check out the link below for the final standings and more images.
