There is just something about striper fishing that has me hooked. Originally the plan was to go to the North Fork this week and try my luck there. But after the weekend storm I decided it would be best to return to Montauk. Billy “Wax” join me and once again we mixed it up with some quality stripers. Here is Billy holding a striper that was bouncing my Boga at about 45lbs.I released this one and 5 others all about the 30lb range. I can not remember the last time I was catching 40lb fish this late in the season. Also note that today we decided to try eels during the day and although the Bluefish were all over them we still managed to get acouple of stripers.
