October 24th - "Pelican"   Stuart Mearns caught this 20lb Striper on a Danny plug fishing the rip at Democrat Point.  After 10 years of fishing in England for bass he landed his personal best while visiting Fire Island.

Julia Wilkinson, Nicole Hooker and Samantha Hooker (left to right) also known as "The Treble Hooks" with three nice bass taken on October 24th in the State Boat Channel just east of the Wantagh Parkway while aboard the "Reel Hooker."  Dads involvement was limited to taking pictures.  Great job by some great fishergirls!!
