Fishing Report
Fished the bayshore mako tourn on saturday with my 8 year old son and 2 friends and had a banner day.set up slick@ 645. by 720 we had a 150# thresher to the boat and safley released. Got the rigs back out and by 830 had a 177#mako gaffed and tail roped to the side of boat. Towed her for 3 hrs then off to the scales we went. we were bumped out of 3rd in the last 20 mins. even though we didnt place it was a awsome day.

Off Shore Report South East of FI Inlet
Today I was invited by Ed Mooney to join him and his crew aboard
his beautiful down-easter “Road to Happiness” for an off shore
exploration trip. With Captain Skip Erickson, Bob Bauer, Chris from Mc
Betts auto and crazy “Tile Joe”. The targeted fish was tuna with a
side-bar of shark fishing. Well not a Tuna to be found but the Shark
bite was terrific, we manage to land over 25 Blue Sharks to
150lbs.Although there was nothing to bring back to the table we left
the day with a fun filled experience which will be remember for years
to come. Pictured is crazy Tile Joe holding a shark by the tail with
his teeth (LOL) as Chris cuts the leader to release the fish. You can
tell from the picture we had a ball.
