My buddy Jim Falatico did a cod trip out of Montauk with Frankie and company and they did a job on some nice cod. Lots of action with jigs and some on bait. Looks like the cod season at Montauk is in full swing.

My son Jake and 2 friends from Fort Schuyler Suny Maritime College had a great day Cod fishing today from a charter boat in Montauk. They fished off Block Island and had a great day with flat calm seas. Most fish on the small side but pool fish was about 20 lbs. Great action and jigs worked best
