Through the years Captain Al has developed a live bait Striped Bass rig that has been extremely effective. Because Striped Bass feed head first the rig keeps the hook in the perfect position for easy hook ups and minimizes gut hooked fish.
Al uses a Mustad Ultra Point 8/0 live bait hook with a duolock snap to keep the bait in place wich also makes the rig IGFA complient. The leader is 60 pound pink Ande and is attached with a Trilene knot.
