I fished today with Carl Curcio and his wife Millicent. It was a tough morning of fishing. The wind was blowing so no bait visible in the ocean. We worked plugs for a couple of bluefish then gave fluke fishing a shot in the inlet.
Millicent hooked a weird double header, a fluke on the top hook and a stingray on the bucktail. We actually managed to get it to the boat on a light bait casting outfit. The poor fluke was drowned after the prolonged fight and getting dragged for so long.
Another memorable day on the water.
