THE BAYSHORE MAKO TOURNAMENT WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH AND BRIAN DOUGHERTY AND CREW BLASTED THE NON MAKO DIVISION WITH A 400 POUND PLUS THRESHER.
Hi Captain Al,
Brain Doherty, Ted Aerni, Chris Kattel, Doug Jetter (me), Keith Jetter
Caught this 403 lbs. tiger Shark in the Bayshore Shark tourney over the weekend. 9’2” long. I was on the real, Brian was driver, Chris handled the final pull in along side the boat and Ted and Keith both needed to gaff this monster.
Once it was gaffed Chris tail roped it.
Took over an hour to get it in. At one point we had it with in wire leader and then he took off for a 35 second run at full strike..... thought he was going take all the line.
Great day with great friends!
GOOD JOB GUYS AND CONGRATULATIONS!
MEANWHILE THE SEABASS ACTION HAS BEEN SPECTACULAR. TODAY I DID AN EXPLORATORY MISSION AND HAD SEABASS TO 5 POUNDS AND 4 CODFISH TWO OF WHICH WERE KEEPERS.
FISHING IS GOOD AND THE WEATHER IS GETTING BETTER!
