Today was another "Chill Day", spent some time at the beach and of course in the pool at the Gilded Iguana sipping frozen drinks.
Today was a pool day at the Gilded Iguana and some of the best Pizza around at the restaurant Pepperoni's, all the pizza is baked in their outdoor brick oven.. A Great way to view the the surroundings is a ATV tour. ATVs are easy to operate and they allow you you to cover a tremendous amount of ground. This tour took us through the country side, the jungle and the the shore line. Our tour guide Emel from Guiones adventures was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Special thanks to Montauk Tackle Company that supplied the technical clothing that is keeping us cool in the 95 degrees tropical heat. If you are down in the tropics this apparel is a must, it's like having an umbrella over at all times. Jet Blue flies direct from JFK to Liberia Costa Rica. The flight was about 5 hours and landed at the new airport which just opened. We are staying with friends that have recently Quit there jobs and sold everything and moved to Costa Rica. Tim C. Video of the 120,000 Gallon Shark Tank I had the opportunity to visit Guatemala to witness and photograph their incredible Marlin and Sailfish bight in the spring of 2008. As it turned out Capt. Al was there in 2002 and had a 300 pound Blue Marlin on a Fly. The lodge is now called Casa Vieja and made a move to a more even more beautiful location. |
